Home Media DVR is a digital video recorder that offers traditional DVR services such as recording two shows at once, pausing and rewinding live TV, as well as services that take advantage of FiOS networking capabilities, Multi-Room DVR and Media Manager.

Multi-room DVR enables subscribers to record shows on one DVR and watch them on up to three other TVs in the house (standard definition only). The Home Media DVR transmits a recorded signal to the set top boxes on the other TVs, eliminating the need for multiple DVRs, a complicated home networking system or costly additional equipment. Setting up recordings and watching in-progress recordings can happen only at the actual DVR.

Media Manager is a free feature included with the Home Media DVR. It allows customers to broadcast music and photos stored on any connected PC in the home, right over their TVs, and create custom playlists and slideshows.
